Advanced Projects in Digital Media - AD 360

This class will focus and expand upon ideas in media, examining its recent history, influence on art and culture, and vehicles of communication. We as a class will explore multi-disciplinary, digital mediums and approaches from sound, photography, video, and performance, as well as potential new tools for input and output.  Projects will facilitate students who have a specific concentration of study to work in new ways to organize, connect, explore, blur, break down, build, facilitate, and curate. The ultimate goal of the class is to bridge disparate modalities, culminating in a multi-disciplinary approach in practice and exhibition.

Hi Class,

Here are the direction for the QuickTime Settings:

1. From your Final Cut Pro time line send to compressor:

2. Under settings look under Formats. Click QuickTime settings. You will then see 9 different Codecs. Choose QuickTime H.264 for your final output.

3. Remember to set your Destination in Compressor and click submit.

4. You can put the file on a DVD just like you would Jpegs.

5. Give the disk or drive to Willie before Thursday!

Looking forward to the show!
